  • Why is Marshalls committed to helping women unlock access to the good stuff in life?
Why is Marshalls committed to helping women unlock access to the good stuff in life?

At Marshalls we believe that women deserve access to the good stuff in life, whatever that means to them. But for so many reasons women say the things they want feel just out of reach. According to Marshalls research, when it comes to working toward their goals, of the women surveyed, 34% of say they don’t even know where to begin. 32% do not feel like they have access to resources they need to live their ideal life. And 1 in 2 women do not have a mentor in their life. That's why we're creating programs to help provide women with the tools, resources, and communities they need to feel financial empowerment, make meaningful connections, embrace their self-worth, and show up with confidence.

Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program

  • What is The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program?
What is The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program?

This virtual year-long experience is designed to help women unlock the good stuff in life, whatever that means to them.  In partnership with Luminary, this new initiative will offer a similar inclusive environment as our Marshalls Good Stuff Social Clubs but aims to create a deeper impact on a dedicated group of 40 women of all backgrounds and ambitions.

The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program will provide its inaugural class with one year of programming that includes:

    • Mentorship from Marshalls’ powerhouse group of experts and role models – women like Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Keltie Knight.
    • Curated peer coaching groups (known as Luminary Crus) to motivate and keep you on track.
    • Access to Luminary’s hub of tools, resources, and community, including 25+ monthly virtual events, networking, and co-working spaces across the country.
    • Grant funding of $5,000 to invest in yourself.

NO PURCH NEC. Open to 50 US/DC/PR, 18+. Must identify as a woman. Ends 10/31. Rules: MarshallsGoodStuffAcceleratorProgram.com.

  • Why did Marshalls choose $5,000 as the funding amount and what are participants permitted to use the funding for?
Why did Marshalls choose $5,000 as the funding amount and what are participants permitted to use the funding for?

Marshalls chose to provide a $5,000 grant for each of the 40 participants in The Marshalls Good Stuff Accelerator Program based on our research that included a detailed analysis of the costs associated with the tools, resources, and community support needed for women to live their ideal lives. According to that research, this average annual expense is approximately $4,362. We decided to round this amount up to $5,000 to ensure that participants have additional flexibility and resources to fully support their development.

The one-time grant is intended to kickstart your journey and should be used to invest in yourself and support the specific personal or professional goals you’re focusing on during the program. This may include (but is not limited to) things like equipment to pursue a new hobby, tickets to a conference or summit, funds to start a new community group, fees to join a professional networking group, a wardrobe refresh for a new role, and/or a career coach. The funding will be disbursed via check to participants approximately halfway through the year-long program to support their ongoing efforts.
